BLANCONEGRO EXHIBITION:
ROBERT POUS
ITS A MOOD
JUSTINO DEL CASAR

COLLECTIBLE DESIGN & CONTEMPORARY ART

No colour. No noise. No excuses.

BLANCONEGRO BARCELONA opens its new season with BLANCONEGRO, an exhibition of collectible design and contemporary art in black and white. Three voices: Robert Pous, Its a Mood and Justino Del Casar. One rule: two colours only.

Removing colour is a radical art. It leaves nowhere to hide. What remains is form, material, proportion and intention. A piece either holds the room or it doesn't. Every work in this exhibition was chosen because it does.

The show moves freely between design and art, the object you live with and the object you stand in front of. A chair, a sculpture, a piece on the wall: here they share the same space, the same palette and the same ambition. The line between them is not erased; it is simply ignored.

Justino Del Casar works from his studio in Valencia, sculpting volume and silhouette with a precision that turns mass into presence. Robert Pous and Its a Mood bring their own languages to the table, each pushing the black and white palette in a different direction, from the functional to the purely visual.

The setting matters too. A modernist building on Carrer de Salvà, built over a century ago, now hosts work made for today. Old walls, new objects, no contradiction.

BLANCONEGRO BARCELONA is also a statement of identity. Formerly EAST WEST SPACE, the gallery now takes its name from this exhibition's core idea: clarity, contrast and a commitment to design that lasts.

For collectors, designers, architects and anyone who simply cares about how things look and feel.
